December Nova in M31 discovered the previous day by Xingming Observatory Sky Survey (XOSS). 12th December M31 nova AT 2018jas is fading and will soon be too dim for my equipment. This is a photometry chart using my data (GFC), remote ITelescopes data from Spain plus data from a few other sources. Clearly I was lucky to discover it so early when it was near magnitude 19. 14th December Animation of comet 46P Wirtanen which is now visible in northern skies. The Moon. Made from the best 80% of 60 images in Ha. 27th December Orion nebula M42 taken remotely from Australia using T68 scope at Bathurst. 13x60 seconds, colour camera. 29th December NGC 5139 Omega Centauri globular cluster, taken remotely from Australia using T68 scope at Bathurst. 5x60 seconds, colour camera. 30th December Another photometry reading from Panstarrs was added (mag 19.120). The nova is now probably too faint for any more data. |
