4th MarchSN 2014J in M82Magnitude now at 11.83 (My readings in red). After assessing the supernova I took a few quick grabs of Hubble's Variable Nebula, ngc 2261 in Monoceros. 5x5 minutes L, 2x5 minutes each in R,G,B. Stars refused to be round, possible due to tube currents, as the supernova images produced round stars. 7th March SN2014J magnitude measured at 12.01 ic2177, part of the Seagull Nebula in Monoceros. A rather faint nebula. This is 6x10 minutes in Ha 10th March First try at webcam imaging of Jupiter. Image spoilt by fringing interference pattern. This is possibly due to the frame rate chosen.
